Community Involvement

Bill Booth Memorial Scholarship

IIAA of OKC values education and offers merit-based scholarships to high school seniors who meet specific criteria. Selected high school seniors receive $500 per semester for four years provided the student meets the minimum GPA requirements for renewal. One of these scholarships, the Bill Booth Memorial Scholarship, is named after a past officer of IIAA of OKC.

We also offer a one-year scholarship of $500 per semester for a college senior attending UCO who is pursuing a finance or insurance degree.

Scholarships are offered through a separate foundation, not directly through IIAA of OKC. For complete details on the available scholarships, please click on "Bill Booth" above for the online scholarship application.

Donations

IIAA of OKC has a long history of giving back to our community. When IIAA of OKC writes insurance policies and receives commission, a portion of those funds is allocated for community donations. As insurance agents, we value safety. Therefore, many of our donations are safety related, such as providing equipment or training for local police and fire departments or safety training for school bus drivers. Prior donations have also supported education, arts, and other community needs.

Volunteer Opportunities

In addition to financially supporting the community through scholarships and donations, IIAA of OKC also provides opportunities for our members to give back through organized community service events. Serving others as a group allows our members to connect with each other in a different way while also fulfilling our mission to give back to our community. Community service events may include volunteering at the food bank and other hands-on service activities with area nonprofits.
